One of the most important hand tools are Files.  Files are an essential tool in working with metals and other materials; they are also needed to keep other hand tools in proper working order. There are many different types of files for particular applications.  Our largest line of files are Grobet Swiss made files.  Swiss precision files are known for providing quality and long life expectancy have a fine points, sharp angles, clear cutting edges and are made from extra fine quality steel with exceptional hardness. 

We carry Grobet Swiss hand files as well as needle files and Swiss made escapement files.  Swiss made files by Vallorbe are used for precision filing of small details by Mold Makers, Die Makers, Gold & Silversmith's, Gunsmith's, Jewelers and craftsman.  We offer hand files and needle files individually or in 6 and 12 piece sets. Hand files are available from 6” to 12” lengths and cuts from coarse #000 to the fines Cut #6.  Our needle files are available in lengths of 5-1/2", 6-1/2" and 7-3/4”, in cuts from coarse #00 to Extra-Fine #8.
