The Progress large heavy duty deluxe vulcanizer is constructed with high precision machined components. The bridge and handle are made of 1" machined steel. The top and bottom platens are 1/2" thick 6061 aluminum extruded plate. This unit features 2 solid state controlled thermostats which regulate each platen separately. This enables a more precise temperature control (accuracy within 1 F) along with an even heat distribution, providing accuracy in mold vulcanizing. Also equipped with pre-calibrated 2 thermometers fixed on each platen with brackets. Platens measures 6-1/4" x 9". Heavy duty. All spare parts are stocked. Weighs 57 lbs.
