Made in the U.S.A. in our manufacturing facility. This cartridge mandrel is turned on CNC machinery, within tolerances +/- .001 one thousand of an inch. We use premium grade steel alloy, making for 99.9% accuracy on overall performance and centricity of the spindle. This is an important factor for safety. When motors are generating high speeds combined with maximum wheel diameters of 6" plus these are two of the many factors to be considered for safe operation. Also, the more true your spindle turns the less vibration occurs which extends the overall life of your motor bearings and armature. Furthermore eliminating vibration equals minimal transfer onto your work piece along with optimal performance on wheels and accessories.
