This master alloy is suitable for the production of 18 ct white gold investment cast articles without precious stones (Ni35Zn16). Rhodium plating is not required, due to the excellent intensity of the white colour; however, the final decision is left to the producer. The gold alloy is suitable for hardening. Its use is recommended only when the intensity of the white colour is extremely important. The gold alloy can be cast with all commonly used investment casting techniques. Lux 106 is sold by the gram.
