This master alloy is suitable for the production of 18 ct white gold investment cast articles without precious stones in place (Ni48Zn18). Rhodium plating is not required due to the good intensity of its white colour: however the final decision is left to the producer. It is suggested for all those countries where where there are no restrictions about Nickel use. This master alloy is suitable for hardening and can be cast with all commonly used investment casting techniques. Its use is recommended only when the intensity of the white colour is extremely important. Lux 129 is sold by the gram.
