This master alloy is suitable for the production of 8, 9, 10 and 14 ct white gold items without precious stones (Ni15Zn25). Rhodium plating is suggested; however, the final decision is left to the producer. It can be used for producing 9 and 10 ct white gold items which can be commercialised only in the countries where there are no restrictions to nickel use. The gold alloy is not suitable for hardening. It can be cast with all commonly used investment casting techniques. Lux 112 is sold by the gram.
