Mold-A-Wax Red Soft forming wax made by Ferris. Mold A Wax #6 is Red in color and is a forming wax-soft type of wax. A Forming Wax that is a malleable wax for producing free-form jewelry and sculptures forms, for molding wax patterns. It can be used through the lost-wax process as well. , Red #6 is soft at room temperature (70 F), and to give it more plasticity simply put in warm water. This wax can be used as an adhesive to join other parts. Wax can be rolled, twisted, or shaped into an infinite variety of designs: such as leaves, petals, figurines. Wax can be made more pliable when immersed in warm water, with a heated tool, or a burner flame to desired plasticity.
Wax Melts at 150 F, and can be injected into rubber molds.
