This Large Embossing Hammer is a high quality metal smithing hammer made by Fretz (who also manufacture Fretz Stakes) and this hammer domes metal from the inside which texture metal with round marks. These Fretz Hammers are small versions of full size silversmithing hammers, but this size makes them useful for jewelry and small metalsmithing forming projects. These hammers are made with 420 hardened stainless steel, rosewood handles, and only weigh 115 grams. One side of the hammer is a large round (37/64" = 14.73mm), the other is a ball (15/32" = 12mm), and from end to end it measures (2-57/64" = 73.34mm). HMR-4
