Polishing Compound Grey-Star. "Grey Star" is a polishing compound that has been widely used by Jewelers for lapping and polishing. This polishing compounds is used by polishers on metals to cut and bring out the color of the material. Polishing Compounds used in lapping application are used with buffs and felt wheels. The Greystar has a medium grade composition with fine and uniform abrasives that provide its cutting ability. The Grey Star compound also has an excellent capacity to bring out good color of all metals. It is an exceptional buffing compound material used on white and harder metals. Works well on Precious metals as well as non-precious: Platinum, Stainless Steel, and Palladium polishing. Bar is approximately 1 Lb / 16 oz.
