A highly precise miniature bench shear for cutting sheet stock and wire. The shear blades are 3" and made of a special grade of tool steel that is precision ground and hardened. The shear has the flexibility to cut wire as well; lower blade has 6 guide holes for wire cutting (4mm to 1.5mm). Blades are mounted on a machined base. It cuts metal sheet stock up to 13 gauge / 2mm (even steel), cuts paper even wet paper cleanly (not as easy as it sounds). Wire cutting steel up to 4mm steel. Length cutting stop is up to 6-1/2".
