In less than half the time of conventional engravers, the RX-50 engraves 3D reliefs with crisp text and vivid graphics. The heavy-duty desktop device employs a spinning worktable that works in conjunction with a powerful, 50,000 RPM spindle. Like a record player, the spindle works from the outside to the middle with 4-micron precision. It's perfect for engraving medals, awards, and corporate seals. Engraves gold, platinum, silver, titanium, brass, aluminum, acrylic, and PVC. It also engraves objects from 0.78" to 2" in diameter. Set up and operation is a breeze. Like a desktop printer, the RX-50 simply plugs into a computer with a USB cable. Bundled software makes it fast and easy to produce 3D reliefs with clean, crisp graphics. It finishes 0.78" diameter objects in just ten minutes. With 4-micron accuracy, the RX-50 uses a custom 0.125" tool to produce incredibly detailed graphics. Medal Editor 3D design software comes bundled with the RX-50. The software enables customers to import JPEG and BMPs and convert them into 3D reliefs, as well as add text. Medal Editor is compatible with Windows? 98SE/Me/2000/XP. The maximum work piece size is 2" x 2" x .59" (51mm x 51mm x 15mm). The maximum cutting area is 2" x .20" (51mm x 5mm). Overall dimension is 15-3/8" W x 14-3/4"D x 14-1/8"H (391mm W x 374mm D x 359mm H).
