Mandrel Bracelet Oval-Stepped with Tang. Tapered and Stepped Oval Shape Mandrel designed for forming oval shaped bracelets. A Jewelry making tool to form bracelets. This oval shaped tapered mandrel graduates in from small end ( 1-3/4" x 2" ) front end, mandrel increases to ( 2-1/2" x 2-3/4 ) at the top end. The mandrel has four equal stepped working sections. The overall length of the mandrel with tang portion is 8-1/2" Long. Oval Mandrel has a tang at the end, which can be used to secure the mandrel in a vise or the workbench.
The mandrel’s tang section measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" x 1" (44mm x 38mm x 25mm).
This Oval Mandrel is used to make bracelets by Goldsmith's. Mandrel is used by many craftsmen for the purpose of forming consistent oval forms utilizing the stepped sections.
